Greg van Eekhout eats snacks and is a science fiction and fantasy writer. His stories have appeared in places such as Asimov's, Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Starlight 3, Strange Horizons, Realms of Fantasy, and Year's Best Fantasy and Horror. His story "In the Late December" was a Nebula nominee.
These days, more of my blogging action happens on my LiveJournal, but I welcome comments in both places.
My chapbook, Show and Tell and Other Stories, is now available from Tropism Press.

One of my friend Andy’s students over in Tuscaloosa apparently has repeatedly shared his fantasy of going up to the top of the campus bell tower with “a 30-30 and a case of bottled water.” I told Andy that if the kid gets too irritating, Andy should bring a case of bottled water to class, set it on the kid’s desk, and say: “Now the rest is up to you.”
